Dream on! Imagine! Be free! This is the most essential element in my work. I chose drawing as a way to dream and talk about my own utopia that I imagine. Because it can best show the world I see. Moa, a girl with deer antlers who appears in the work, is a reflection of my ego and leads the story I want to tell. Also, the white tigers, cats, and other animals that are always with the girls represent people I love. In particular, the white tiger in the work is a reflection of my pet cat, Nami, who has now crossed the rainbow bridge and separated. The reason why I chose to depict Nami as a white tiger instead of a cat is because I wanted Nami, who was born with a lot of pain when she was alive, to live as a strong creature without being sick anymore in my imaginary world. I started drawing her as a white tiger. My own utopia, a place that is a little strange but mysterious, where everything I can imagine is possible, started from my wish to forever preserve the world I see with a childish mind. In the end, creating and drawing a utopia with my wishes and heart is the same as the process of reaching happiness, the ultimate goal of life, through self-realization. “There are no limits to your imagination. Dream on! Imagine! Be free! This is the most essential element in my work. I chose drawing as a way to dream and talk about my own utopia that I imagine. Because it can best show the world I see.
