Ahn Rio
Through colorful paintings, he draws abstract expressionist paintings, scenes of everyday life, and ink drawings that add imagination to everyday life. I do two main types of work. The main theme of both works is people's growing thoughts and relationships, and the healing that comes from them. I work with a lot of ideas, philosophies, and inspiration from people from various environments, cultures, and philosophies.
Everyone thinks.
The colors, feelings, and shapes are truly diverse.
Thoughts also resemble nature. Various trees, flowers, and tree life come together and meet to form a forest, connecting and forming a flow. Trees waving in the wind, rivers constantly circulating and flowing, trees, and flowers are images of various thoughts and memories growing from nature.
This organic flow was expressed in the work with lines and planes that flow naturally rather than artificially.
Also, when I start work, I think about colors that can represent the texture of each work's thoughts. Some colors energize people, and some colors calm the mind. I hope that people who view my work will receive temporary comfort and healing from the warm energy that comes from the rich colors and shapes.
