Lee Donggu
Basically, based on his personal experience, the author ponders what characteristics distinguish people in the current post-postmodern era compared to people in the past century. Due to the economic crisis just before the beginning of the 21st century, the economic crisis of 2008 after the beginning of the 21st century, and the global pandemic that people living on Earth faced for the first time in their lives, people's thoughts and philosophies, and the resulting We think about how behavioral patterns have changed and how those characteristics differ from past generations. Accordingly, the author seriously ponders and explores the classics and various social issues currently occurring, reflects on the thoughts and concerns of contemporary people from an observer's perspective, and accordingly projects his concerns as a writer into his works. there is. The topic he has been focusing on recently is that people are changing according to the characteristics of the times, from the era of collectivism to the era of individualism, which is a common phenomenon in Korea and other major Asian countries and countries experiencing rapid economic development. It is a change in one's thinking consciousness and behavior patterns.
Second, he explores how people's universal values are projected and manifest phenomenologically in special situations such as economic crises or the spread of infectious diseases. Thirdly, the author is concerned about the era of hatred among recent social issues and expresses this through his works. In particular, we are paying attention to the fact that when it comes to contradictions, defensive attitudes appear aggressively, and that this occurs collectively rather than at the individual level, and that this phenomenon appears online and through various media. Therefore, it is not that the current era he sees has become distorted, but that the unique characteristics inherent in humanity are being revealed through economic consumption activities and interpersonal relationships, and this is interpreted based on new social phenomena that have emerged due to the development of economic and social structures and new technologies. I am working on my work. In this regard, he expands the topic mentioned above and focuses on the phenomenon of people's thoughts being transferred, spread, and reproduced through the concept of speed, and such information being transmitted in vast amounts in a short period of time, and his observer's point of view is the current era. It provides an opportunity for people living in the world to reflect on themselves and at the same time leaves questions about the context in which it should be understood.
