Our youth was full of anxiety with no time to be lazy. Therefore, I give contemporary young people something special through leisurely moments in everyday life, unique colors, and cinematic screen composition. In particular, through the process of creating a person with various colors, that is, observing and painting the colors that change every moment under the sun, and finding the various and subtle colors reflected on the person's face, human beings realize their existence and regain the meaning of life. look for This is a ritual and consolation that gives rest to the past or current youth who were full of anxiety. Furthermore, I hope that the audience will also be able to regain freedom and passion in their hearts through the work and recharge the power to live the present and future.
After graduating with a degree in Western painting, artist Ohta worked as an art director at a motion graphics studio for about 10 years. He has been engaged in full-scale creative activities since 2022 and is building a sensuous world of paintings that combines pictorial materiality with modern figures of various colors. He is active in numerous exhibitions and has had solo exhibitions at Seoul Tra Art and Collector Zero One. In 2023, he will be active not only at domestic fairs such as Lotte Art Fair Busan and Urban Break, but also overseas such as UVNT Art Fair in Spain and group exhibition at Cohle gallry in Paris.
